Michael Holmes is an Analyst at Wavecrest Growth Partners and joined the firm in September 2022. Prior to joining Wavecrest, Michael worked at Bain Capital Ventures where he built various portfolio data analysis initiatives. Prior to BCV, Michael was in the Finance Leadership Development Program at BAE Systems.
Michael received a B.A. in Financial Economics from The University of Rochester.

If you weren’t an investor, what would you be passionate about doing with your time?
In another life I might have been a paleontologist. I love to discover new things and travel to different places.
What is your favorite sports team?
The Boston Celtics. I grew up going to the Garden and have been hooked ever since!
What is your all-time favorite movie or TV show?
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. It’s been a treat to have so much new content the past few years, but you can’t beat the originals!
