Evan Cummins is a Vice President at Wavecrest Growth Partners, having rejoined the firm in December 2025. Before returning to Wavecrest, he served as a Vice President at Guggenheim Investments, where he led growth equity investments in B2B software companies. Earlier in his career, Evan worked as an Associate at Wavecrest, contributing to new investment sourcing and providing hands-on support to portfolio companies. He began his professional journey at Guggenheim on the Technology team within the Corporate Credit group.
Evan received an A.B. in Economics from Harvard, where he was a four-year member and one-time captain of the basketball team.

I can turn almost any conversation into a discussion about vertical software… and usually do.
What is your “go-to” comfort food?
A classic cheeseburger and fries. I am currently conducting research to find the best cheeseburger in every city – open to all suggestions.
