Charlie DeMassi is an Associate at Wavecrest Growth Partners and joined the firm in April 2024. Prior to Wavecrest, Charlie was an Associate at Frontier Growth, where he was responsible for sourcing new B2B SaaS investments, executing new investment opportunities, and supporting strategic initiatives at the firm’s portfolio companies. Prior to Frontier Growth, Charlie was an Investment Banker at D.A. Davidson.
Charlie received a BBA in Finance & Information Systems from Loyola University Maryland.

If you weren’t an investor, what would you be passionate about doing with your time?
I’m incredibly passionate about entrepreneurship and have lots of respect for those who start their own venture. If I wasn’t an investor in growth-stage businesses, I’d likely be trying to start my own.
What is your favorite sports team?
The Boston Red Sox. I played baseball my whole life and admire the mental and physical toughness needed to perform at a high-level. I was in 1st grade when the Red Sox broke their 86-year World Series draught in 2004 and can remember how happy my grandparents were who lived through the bulk of the curse.
Who is your favorite music artist/band?
Kenny Chesney – And it’s not close. His style of music works at the beach, at a tailgate, at the bar, in the car, while scrubbing the internet for best-in-class SaaS companies… it always puts me in a great mood and the right mindset. Watching him perform live is also an incredible experience. I would highly recommend seeing him at Gillette Stadium.
