Vice President
Ben Keusch is a Vice President at Wavecrest Growth Partners and joined the firm in October 2023. Prior to Wavecrest, Ben was a Senior Associate at Summit Partners, where he was responsible for sourcing new technology investments and supporting the firm’s portfolio companies. Prior to Summit Partners, Ben was a management consultant at Oliver Wyman.
Ben received a B.S. in Economics from Duke University.

Where did you grow up?
Contrary to popular belief, South Florida isn’t only for retirees. In fact, some people are born there! Myself included. I grew up in the sixth borough of New York, Boca Raton, where I enjoyed warm weather 360 days a year, frequent trips to the beach, and a few hurricane days every now and then.
What’s a hidden talent or skill you have that people wouldn’t guess about you OR growing up, what’s something you excelled at?
Basketball was one of my biggest passions growing up, and I am honored to have played at Duke University… on the club team. While my competitive days playing against some now-NBA players are over, I still enjoy a pickup game every now and then.
If you weren’t an investor, what would you be passionate about doing with your time?
I likely would have pursued a career as either an NBA or college basketball scout or a teacher. I’m passionate about basketball (if you haven’t guessed by now), and the idea of identifying the next generation of elite players excites me. Alternatively, I would have liked to become a teacher. The right mentorship, instruction and motivation can greatly influence a student’s personal and professional journey, and I would have found that incredibly rewarding.
