Will Batchelder is an Associate at Wavecrest Growth Partners and joined the firm in June 2023. Prior to joining Wavecrest, Will was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Technology Group at William Blair, focusing on mergers and acquisitions within the B2B software space.
Will received a B.S. in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

If you could spend a month in any city, where would you go?
This is an easy one for me – Granada, Spain. I’d love to just aimlessly explore the cobblestone streets, while taking in the beautiful architecture and stunning views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Add in an excuse to practice my Spanish, and this could be the perfect month.
If you weren’t an investor, what would you be passionate about doing with your time?
I’ve always had a passion for music and think it would be fascinating to work in the recording industry, being anything from a lead producer to a mastering engineer. I’m not sure if my one-semester music production class in college will get me very far, but I can dream!
What is your “go-to” comfort food?
My great grandma’s chicken meatball soup. We always have it at family holiday gatherings, and it truly is a delicacy (especially if you add a generous amount of shredded parmesan on top).
